The County of Lanark invites potential proponents to submit a proposal for the construction of a 20-unit social housing apartment building in the town of Carleton Place, Ontario. The selected proponent will supply the land as part of its proposal. The social housing apartment building must be on land serviced by the Town of Carleton Place water and sewer system.
The County requires occupancy by July 1, 2020. The Project will involve the design and preparation of detailed drawings by licensed professionals for the site development, landscaping, stormwater management, utility connections, road entrance, and all building components, followed by all necessary permit approvals, construction, inspection, and final certification.
The County will consider two types of proposals: (i) a new build; or (ii) a building retrofit, provided the requirements of the RFP are satisfied. Proponents are permitted to submit more than one proposal.
