Bonnechere Manor is requesting a proposal for resident room window replacements as per the following:
a) The supply and installation new double pain low E windows
b) Assessment and evaluation of existing window systems
c) Develop a Preliminary Design and Cost Estimate, including a phased implementation schedule.
All work performed under an ensuing agreement between Bonnechere Manor and a proponent in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Ontario Health and Safety Act., R.S.O., 1990 as amended. All design characteristics and materials MUST comply with all applicable nation, provincial and municipal regulations and codes including Ontario Disability Act, Ontario Fire Code, Ontario Building Code and ASHRAE Standards, as well as with all stated requirements of the county. The successful proponent will be required to assist Bonnechere Manor in the application of any rebate incentives for energy efficient equipment.
The new windows will be able to be opened from in the resident room. Windows will also include security devices to limit opening to the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care standards of not more than 15cm. Proponents are invited to submit appropriate documentation as outlined in the proposal documents before 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. June 23, 2021.
