Sealed tenders on forms supplied by the Department of Development and Property will be received until 2:00 p.m. local time, September 8, 2021 for DP-Trails 2021-10 – Sealed Tenders for the Trail Resurfacing, Highway Trail Crossing Construction and Structure Improvements to Algonquin Trail from Turcotte Road (Whitewater Region) to College Way (Pembroke) and Highway 17 to Wylie Road (Laurentian Hills), a distance of approximately 37.5 km in the Townships of Whitewater Region and Laurentian Valley, the Town of Laurentian Hills and the City of Pembroke.
Companies that wish to submit a tender for these contracts must register with the department in order to receive the tender documents and to be eligible to submit a tender. Tenders submitted by unregistered bidders will not be accepted.
Electronic PDF files of the drawings, specifications and tender form are free of charge for registered bidders. Hard copy specifications and tender form may be obtained from the Department for a non-refundable fee of $50 unless otherwise stated.
A public tender opening will not be held. A video of the opening will be available upon request. Bidders will be notified of the results by e-mail.
Faxed submissions will not be accepted. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted and the County of Renfrew reserves the right to award any portion of the work or none of the work.
