The Corporation of the City of Pembroke has issued a tender for the Townline and Mackay Lift Station Upgrades. This is Contract No. 17-2002A.
Sealed tenders, plainly marked as to contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, Ontario, K8A 1A1 until
2:00:59 PM, LOCAL TIME, Wednesday, March 7th, 2018.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submissions is English.
All work for the Townline and Mackay Lift Station Upgrades being done is within the existing buildings with exception of new exterior man doors and new gas service connection for Mackay site. Work at Townline includes new in-channel sewage grinder, mixer, one pump (pump only supplied by owner), electrical work and modifications to interior pipe in wet well and dry well. Work at Mackay includes new in-channel grinder, two mixers, electrical work, new furnace and ducting modifications. Anticipated date of construction completion is October 5th, 2018.
Complete tender documents may be obtained from Jp2g Consultants Inc., 12 International Drive, Pembroke, Ontario, on payment of a non-refundable cost of $250.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to Jp2g Consultants Inc. Tender sets will be available for pick-up Wednesday, February 14th, 2018, during regular office hours.
A mandatory site meeting will be held on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. local time at the site, starting at Townline, 10 Paul Martin Drive, Pembroke.
The successful bidder will be required to file with the owner the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) days of being awarded the contract.
The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), and the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA).
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
