South Algonquin has issued a tender to screen up to 6,000 tonnes of Winter Sand at the township’s Murchison Aggregate Pit located at 112 McCauley Lake Road and haul a variable amount to the township’s public works yard located at 24808 Highway 60, Madawaska where approximately 3,000 tonnes of Winter Sand will be mixed and placed in the sand dome and the remainder of the unmixed Winter Sand will be placed in a stockpile at the pit and or hauled and placed in a stockpile at the public works yard.
Sealed tenders plainly marked as to the contents will be received until Friday, May 15, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Tenders can be mailed to the municipality or placed in the drop box located outside the township office main doors. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted.
