RFP-2016-07 – Social Infrastructure Fund – Affordable Housing Units in Lanark County & the Town of Smiths Falls

The Corporation of the County of Lanark is seeking proposals from proponents wishing to create additional affordable housing units in the County and/or the Town of Smiths Falls either through developing new buildings or through renovations of existing buildings.
The County’s Social Housing department as a Service Manager is responsible for administering capital funds allocated through the Social Infrastructure Fund (SIF). In our area for 2017, $1,200,000 will be used for projects that will increase the supply of safe, adequate and affordable rental housing.
Successful proposal(s) will be forwarded to Lanark County Council for review and approval. Final approval is required from the Ministry of Housing.
