The City of Pembroke has issued a tender for Resurfacing and Drainage Improvements on MacKay Street Contract No. 19-0404.
Hard copy sealed tenders, plainly marked as to its contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke until 2:00:59 p.m., local time, Tuesday, August 13, 2019.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submission is English.
Construction consists of the asphalt resurfacing of MacKay Street from Esther Street to Dickson Street with a combined length of 0.31 km. Work will include milling 50mm and reinstating 50mm of asphalt, localized drainage improvements, structure adjustments, structure rebuilding, supply of frame and grates and traffic signal upgrades at Alfred Street and Metcalfe Street. Anticipated construction start date is September 3, 2019 with a completion date on or about November 15, 2019.
Complete tender documents, in an electric PDF version, may be obtained from, McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd., 115 Walgreen Road R.R. 3, Carp, ON, K0A 1L0, on payment of a non-refundable cost of $25.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd. Tender sets will be available for pick up beginning Thursday, July 25, 2019, during regular office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
All questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 4:00 pm local time on Wednesday, August 7, 2019.
The successful bidder will be required to file with the owner the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the contract. The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA).
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
