The City of Pembroke has issued a tender for the Renewed Muskrat River Watermain Crossing Mary Street and Alfred Street – Tender Contract No. 19027-01.
Hard copy sealed tenders, plainly marked as to its contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 p.m., Local Time, Wednesday, August 28, 2019.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submission is English.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new 400mm watermain on Mary Street from Moffat Street to the east end of the bridge, the replacement of the existing 150mm watermain with a new 400mm watermain on William Street that will connect to an existing 400mm watermain. The work includes the replacement of valves, services, hydrants, installation of a bridge mounted 400mm watermain, connections to existing water network and all reinstatement. Anticipated date of construction completion is November 30, 2019.
Complete tender documents, in an electronic PDF version, may be obtained from Ainley Group Consulting Engineers & Planners, 2724 Fenton Road, Ottawa, ON K1T 3T7 on payment of non-refundable cost of $25.00 per set. Tender sets will be available for pick-up beginning Thursday, August 8, 2019 during regular office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
All questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 4:00 pm local time on Wednesday, August 21, 2019.
The successful bidder will be required to file with the owner the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the contract. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
