The Corporation of the City of Pembroke has issued a tender for the Reconstruction of Boundary Road – Phase 1, Tender Contract No. 2134273A.
Hard copy sealed tenders, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, Ontario, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 pm, local time, Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submissions is English.
For the Reconstruction of Boundary Road – Phase 1 (from Almira Street South to Bennett Street), a distance of 0.6 km, including removal of existing asphalt, curbs and boulevard; regrading of existing granular base; new asphalt pavement, concrete curbs, and asphalt boulevard, and some storm sewer and structure upgrades. Anticipated date of construction completion is July 23, 2018.
Complete tender documents, in a standard paper version, may be obtained from Jp2g Consultants Inc., 12 International Drive, Pembroke, Ontario, on payment of a non-refundable cost of $100.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to Jp2g Consultants Inc. Tender sets will be available for pick-up beginning on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 during regular office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
All questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 5:00 pm local time on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
The successful Bidder will be required to file with the City of Pembroke the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the contract.
The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
