Hard copy sealed tenders, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 p.m., local time, Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submissions is English.
Construction consists of the removal and repair of deteriorated concrete and rebar along the exterior and interior columns of Garages #1 and #2 located at the city’s operations department at 460 River Road, Pembroke. Anticipated construction start date is May 4, 2020 with an approximate completion date of June 19, 2020.
Complete tender documents, in an electronic PDF version, may be obtained from McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd., 115 Walgreen Road R.R. 3, Carp, ON K0A 1L0, on payment of a non-refundable cost of $25.00 per set. Cheques should be made payable to McIntosh Perry Consulting Engineers Ltd. Tender sets will be available for pick-up beginning on Thursday, March 5, 2020 during regular office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
All questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 12:00 noon local time on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
The successful bidder will be required to file with the City of Pembroke the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the contract.
The city reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
