The scope of work includes the complete removal and off-site disposal of the existing concrete dam structure including pre-cast concrete deck slabs, concrete piers, concrete base slabs, concrete weir structures, steel railing and anchorages, steel gratings and supports. Also includes the removal and reinstatement of creek bed material, as well as the installation, maintenance and removal of environmental protection, erosion & sediment control and dewatering measures.
Works to be completed by September 25, 2020, with no works being completed between March 1 and July 15, 2020.

Cheques should be made payable to HP Engineering Inc. Tender sets will be available during regular office hours (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).
All questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 5:00 pm local time on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.
The successful bidder will be required to file with the City of Pembroke the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the contract.
Hard copy sealed tenders, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 p.m., local time, Tuesday, January 14, 2020.
Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submissions is English.
The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA).
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
