The Corporation of the City of Pembroke has issued Tender Contract No. 28711 for the Pembroke Operations Building Entrance Accessibility Renovations & Kiwanis Lift.

General Work Description: To provide all labour, equipment, and material necessary to complete the renovations to the front entrance and reception area of the Operations Department building. To provide all labour, equipment, and material necessary to complete the addition to the front entrance including a barrier free lift installation to the Kiwanis Field House building.

Hard copy sealed tenders, plainly marked as to its contents will be received by Ms. Diane Schofield, Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until 2:00:59 p.m., local time, Tuesday, August 27, 2019.

Tenders will be opened in public immediately following closing time. Language of tender submission is English. Anticipated date of construction completion is January 15, 2020.

Complete tender documents, in an   electric PDF version, may be obtained from, J. L. Richards & Associates Limited. Tender sets will be available Tuesday, August 6, 2019.

A Mandatory Site Meeting for Bidders will be held Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 am local time beginning at the administration entrance to the Operations Department building, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON.

All   questions relating to this tender request will be received in writing up to and no later than 4:00pm local time on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. The successful bidder will be required to file with the owner the specified bonds and insurance within ten (10) business days of being awarded the Contract.

The procurement of goods and services specified in the tender documents is subject to the provision of the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA).The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders.  The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
